Happy 5th Birthday, Bria!

You've waited a long time for this day, Bria, but it's finally here! You are five years old! It's hard to believe that we're quickly saying goodbye to all the little kid things, and saying hello to all the big kid things that you'll do. I know you're super excited to go to school, but you'll just have to wait six more months. Your mind is primed and ready to learn.

You are incredibly tenacious. Once you get an idea in your head, you refuse to let it go until you've seen it to it's completion. This is such a good quality; I pray that you'll use it to work towards the things God has you to do.

You're my big feeler. Right now, things are either The Best Ever or The Worst Ever. I pray you'll soon embrace the middle of the road things too. Your feelings are contagious, and I hope you use them for good.

We love you so much! We pray that the Lord keeps you safe and helps you to make good choices. We pray that you continue to seek after Jesus with your whole heart, and that you hate sin and get caught when you're guilty. We pray that you'll grow in patience, kindness, and goodness this year.

Happy 4th Birthday Bria!

Happy Birthday, Bria! You are an amazing little girl. You are funny and kind, quick to apologize and quick to forgive. I've had such fun hanging out with you while your sisters are in school! You are pretty good at being patient when you have to do things like wait for your sisters to get out of school, or wait for Alaina to get done with piano lessons. You love riding your scooter and swinging on swings. You definitely live your life for fun! And you are a good helper. I love hearing you say the Bible verses that you learn at church. Watching you grow up is so fun!

I pray that the Lord keeps you safe, and helps you to grow in wisdom. I pray that you will learn to love Jesus at an early age. I pray that you will hate sin and get caught when you're guilty. I pray that you will always stay tender to the feelings of others.

Happy 3rd Birthday Bria!!

Oh Bria! You are three years old! You are officially a preschooler and no longer a toddler. You have your own opinions about things, and you are going to stick to them no matter what! It's good...but we pray that you have humility of spirit and learn to temper it with love and grace. We also pray that this is the year you potty train! It's time, girl. Make it happen!

You still love the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse gang, and you developed a love for Sheriff Callie. You love to sing and you like to pretend with play food. You are most definitely a momma's girl, but you and Daddy have your own jokes that make you giggle.

We pray that you grow in patience and obedience this year. We pray that you grow to love Jesus and to hate sin. We pray that God protects your life and protects your health.

Happy 2nd Birthday Bria!

Bria Faith!  You are 2 today!  You are so funny and goofy.  You love to sing.  You love to play with whatever toy your sister is playing with.  And you definitely do not want to be left out of things.  You can count to eleven, you have an impressive repertoire of animal sounds, and you can correctly label all the body parts on my face.  My favorite time of the day is bedtime, when I zip you in your sleep sack and then we cuddle in the rocking chair for a few minutes.  You always sing the bedtime songs with me.

We love you so much.  We pray that God protects your life and your health.  We pray that if there are any seeds of rebellion in you that God will root them out and squash them before they grow.  We pray that God draws you to Him at an early age, and that you hate sin and get caught when you're guilty.

You have a big year ahead of you.  You will be learning so many things and becoming more kid and less baby every day.  We love having you in our family.

Happy 1st Birthday Bria!

My sweet Bria.  You're one year old today!  We would be lying if we said we weren't nervous about how the whole Three Kids thing was going to work out, but you have made it so easy for us.  You are our little clown, and we have had so much fun with you this year.  We love how you are right now and are so excited that we get a front seat to watch you grow into your own person. 

We pray that the Lord draws you to Himself at an early age.  We pray that you will hate sin, and get caught when you're guilty.  We pray that God gives you wisdom and discernment as you grow so you can reconcile the way the world is now with the grace and the love of God.  We pray that you will be an example of that grace to others.
